Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan is the gateway to India’s most colourful state also known as Pink City and the largest city in Rajasthan.The Jaipur city founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the ruler of Amer after whom the town named.

A collection of yards, patios and houses, the majestic City Palace right in the centre of City Jaipur. Jai Singh II built the outer wall, but over a period of times, the palace has modified.There are palace structures from various eras; some are from the early 20th century. The palace is a mixture of Rajasthani and Mughal Architecture.
The City Palace complex includes The Armoury, Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Diwan-E-Khas, Diwan-I-Aam, Pritam Niwas Chowk. These are the prominent structures that one should visit in the Palace complex.
The fort located in Amer, a town which is 11 km from Jaipur. Also known as Amer Fort. Settled on a small hill and also one of the most visited places in Jaipur. Built by a tribe called Meenas and later ruled by Raja Man Singh I during 1592.
Declared as “UNESCO World Heritage site”. This fortress consists of a vast palace complex, built from light yellow and pink sandstone, and white marble, and into four main parts, each with its courtyard. One can stroll up to the fort from the road in about 15 minutes or else hire a cab which includes waiting time as it takes an hour or so to explore this beautiful fort.
Jaigarh Fort is 15 km from the city Jaipur & 8 km from Amber Fort. The fort is situated on a hill and was built by Jai Singh II in the year 1726 and was named after him. It was never captured and has survived intact through the centuries.
The fortress has reservoirs, living areas, a puppet theatre and the world’s most giant wheeled cannon, Jaya Vana.The field gun made in the fort foundry, which constructed in Mughal era. It weighs around 40-60 tonnes and to fire it needs 100kg of gunpowder.
To get a picturesque view of Jaipur, Nahargarh Fort is the perfect place to visit. Built by Jai Singh II, Nahargarh Fort initially named as Sudarshangarh and later renamed Nahargarh. The fort was constructed to tighten the security.

Jal Mahal is a palace and beautifully located in the watery area of Man Sagar. Sawai Jai Singh II restored the lake and the palace in 18th Century.
Jantar Mantar is next to the City Palace, an observatory started by Jai Singh II in the year 1734. It’s the world largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Kachori at Rawat Mishthan Bhandar
Rawat Misthan Bhandar, situated in Sindhi Camp, near to the bus stand.This eatery is well-known for its Pyaj Kachori and Mawa Kachori.
